INTIMATIONS - SUNDAY, 22^nd MARCH 2026

A warm welcome is extended to everyone joining with us for worship this morning, in person and on-line. The service is live streamed as well as being available on the Minister’s Facebook page at “Minister Denny Old and Haggs”. Church news and intimations can be accessed on Denny Old and Haggs United Church website - www.dennyoldandhaggs.co.uk. Following this service 1^st Denny Girls’ Brigadeinvite you to their Afternoon Tea from 12.15-14.15. There will be stalls and entertainment from Brigaders. Tickets are priced £5 for adults and £1 for children. All proceeds will raise funds for “Jak’s Den”. If you can’t make it to the GB’s event there is still time for the regular teas and coffees before the event begins.

Minibus: Please call John on 07799 145121 if you need a lift to the service in Denny.

Large print Order of Service is available at the door, if you would like a copy please ask.

Service Times: A printed sheet with details and dates for upcoming services, including Easter, is available at the front door and in the hall. Date of next mid-week service in Haggs Church is Wednesday, 15^th April, at 2.00pm.

Coffee and Chat Club meets this Tuesday, 24^th March at 2.00pm. This is an informal meeting giving a chance to catch up with friends old and new.

There will be a Soup and Sandwich Lunch on Sunday, 29^th March, following the service. Proceeds of the Lunch will go to CrossReach.Could any soup makers please contact Sue Storrar if they can provide a pot of soup for this lunch.

The Lunch Box is on Mondays from 11.00am-1.00pm. A variety of soups, sandwiches and home baking are available at a very reasonable price. There will be no Lunch Box on Monday, 30^th March and Monday, 6^th April as the team is having a wee break for Easter.

The Snowdrop Cafe meets every Monday from 1-3pm in Haggs Church Hall. Everyone is welcome to come along.

The Girls’ Brigade meets tomorrow in Denny Church Hall at 6.30pm, when they will be having their Annual Display Evening. Everyone is warmly invited to come along. The Brigade will then be off until August.

1^st Haggs Boys’ Brigade: The BB’s meet in Haggs Church Hall on Tuesdays from 6.30pm-7.30pm. There will be no meeting on Tuesdays, 7^th and 14^th April, back on 21^st April continuing through to June. Parents Night is on Tuesday, 5^th May.

The Mission and Outreach Group is offering a Free clothing and Free lunch on Saturday, 11^th April from 11.00am–2.00pm in Denny Church Hall, for anyone who does not have sufficient clothes to stay warm and dry. Donations can be handed in at Church or at the Lunch Box. More information can be had from Sue Storrar 01324 840757, or Diana Thomson 01324 824620.

Pastoral Visiting Teams:  If you know of someone in hospital, at home, in a care home, or just needing a visit, please let us know by speaking to those on door duty or dropping a note in the box on the table at the front door. You can also contact Raheel on 01324 819149 and he will pass on details.

Church Magazine: The Spring Newsletter is now ready for uplift.

Exercise: Community Exercise Classes and Keep Fit for All, including the Denny and District Hearties, are held in Denny Church Hall. Contact Kirsty Arnott 07938 169967 for more details.

Westpark Church are having a Daffodil Concert with their Church Organists and guest on Saturday, 4^th April at 2.30pm. Admission by donation.

Bonnybridge St Helen’s are holding a Coffee Morning on Friday,

24^th April from 10.00-12.00, to celebrate Stathcarron’s 45^th Anniversary.
