INTIMATIONS - SUNDAY, 2^nd AUGUST 2026

A warm welcome is extended to everyone joining with us for worship this morning, in person and on-line. The service is live streamed as well as being available on the Minister’s Facebook page at “Minister Denny Old and Haggs”. Tea and coffee will be available after the service.

A list of upcoming services and large print Order of Service are available if needed. The next mid-week service in Haggs Church is on Wednesday, 12^th August, at 2.00pm.

The Snowdrop Café meets every Monday, throughout the summer, from 1-3 pm in Haggs Church Hall and all are very welcome to come along to join in the fun.

Holiday Club:  The theme this year is “Miracle at the Well”. The Club begins tomorrow, 3^rd August and is on all week until 7^th August, from 10.00-12.00 each morning with registration at 9.30am. A warm welcome is extended to everyone, from 0-100! (Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult).  

A new group, The Wildwood Drumming Circle, is going to meet in Haggs Church hall on Wednesday 5^th August from 6 - 7pm and fortnightly onwards. The group will be led by Lorraine, who some people may know from her drumming visits to the Snowdrop cafe. Drums are available to anyone who wants to give it a try.

The Lunch Box begins again next Monday, 10^th August, from 11.00am – 1.00pm, serving soup, sandwiches, cakes and tea/coffee. We look forward to welcoming friends, old and new.

Pastoral Visiting Teams:  If you know of someone in hospital, at home, in a care home, or just needing a visit, please let us know by speaking to those on door duty or dropping a note in the box on the table at the front door. You can also contact Raheel on 01324 819149 and he will pass on details.

Exercise: Community Exercise Classes and Keep Fit for All, including the Denny and District Hearties, are held in Denny Church Hall. Contact Kirsty Arnott 07938 169967 for more details.

The Anniversary Celebration 'Cheese and Wine Evening' is on Saturday, 15^th August at 7pm for 7.30pm in Denny Church Hall. All are welcome to help us mark one year since the successful union of Denny Old and Haggs Churches. Come and meet friends old and new. Hear about Marion Reid, our Session Clerk’s, walk along the Great Wall of China which raised funds for Strathcarron Hospice. This event is free to all members but there will be an opportunity to make a donation to the Hospice. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available as well as an alternative to cheese. So please still come along even if you do not like cheese or wine! Please give your name to Diana Thomson (01324 824620) by Sunday, 9^th August if you would like to attend.

Elders please noteinvitations for delivery to your districts are on the 1^st pew at the front of church. Please mark your name on the list when you uplift these.
