INTIMATIONS - SUNDAY, 3^rd MAY 2026

A warm welcome is extended to everyone joining with us for worship this morning, in person and on-line. The service is live streamed as well as being available on the Minister’s Facebook page at “Minister Denny Old and Haggs”. A list of upcoming services and large print Order of Service are available at the door and in the hall if needed. Date of next mid-week service in Haggs Church is Wednesday, 13^th May, at 2.00pm.

The Lunch Box is on Mondays from 11.00am-1.00pm in Denny Church Hall serving a choice of soup, sandwiches and home baking and everyone is welcome.

The Snowdrop Cafe meets every Monday from 1-3pm in Haggs Church Hall. This Monday, 4^th May, the Silver Singers Harmony Group will be providing entertainment and all are very welcome to join in the fun.

1^st Haggs Boys’ Brigade meets on Tuesdays at 6.30pm-7.30pm, in Haggs Church Hall. Parents’ Night is this Tuesday, 5^th May.

Coffee and Chat Club next meets on Tuesday, 5^th May at 2.00pm in Denny Church Hall. This is an informal get-together, and anyone who would like to join us will be made very welcome.

Kirk Session: The Session meets this Wednesday, 6^th May, at 7.00pm in Denny Church Hall.

Christian Aid Week, 10^th-17^th May: Across the world, children living in poverty go to bed hungry. Please support their hardworking parents to change this by donating to help fund tools and training, so that families can learn how to farm food, wherever they live. Christian Aid envelopes will be given out in church on Sunday, 10th May and can be returned the following Sunday, when we will be holding a Christian Aid Lunch following the service. A speaker is coming from Christian Aid to speak about their work on Wednesday 13th May at Westpark Church to which all are invited. Teas/coffees will be served from 10.30am followed by a short service at 11.15am.

Garden Fete is on Saturday, 16^th May at 1pm in Denny Church Hall and grounds.  The are still a few Fete letters to be uplifted by Elders.

If anyone has any jewellery donations for the jewellery stall, can they see Diana before the Fete please. Donations of home baking for the teas would be greatly appreciated.

Coach Outing: The Outing is arranged for Saturday, 6^th June, leaving outside Denny Primary School at 9.30am. We will be heading to

St Andrews following our morning coffee stop at Caulder’s Garden Centre near South Queensferry. A meal is booked at The Smugglers in Tillicoultry before returning home in the early evening. The total price is £35. Please speak to Jean Weir as soon as possible to book your place.

Pastoral Visiting Teams:  If you know of someone in hospital, at home, in a care home, or just needing a visit, please let us know by speaking to those on door duty or dropping a note in the box on the table at the front door. You can also contact Raheel on 01324 819149 and he will pass on details.
